CCSS Courses
Common Core, or the Common Core State Standards Initiative, is an initiative sponsored by the U.S. National Governors Association and Council of Chief State School Officers. It sets a standard for English Language Arts and mathematics that is meant to hold K-12 students to a common standard across the country.
To put it simply, Common Core tells us what students should master at a certain stage of their education. The standards are considered a benchmark for students who are preparing for college and for their careers.
